Minimum Qualifications: Masters' degree in hospitality, business or a related field AND; A current tenured academic position in hospitality management at a regionally-accredited institution of higher education, OR 10 years of executive-level management experience in the hospitality industry. Preferred Qualifications: Earned doctorate in hospitality, business or a related field; Hospitality industry experience as a vice president or other position with responsibility for more than local operations; Equivalent of three years of full-time college-level teaching experience. Minimum Qualifications: Holds the rank of tenured Professor in a department of hospitality, tourism or related fields in an accredited university; Obtained a doctoral degree with at least one degree in Hospitality or Tourism Management or a related field; Has a demonstrated record of research, teaching and service at the university level; Has been successfully engaged in educational leadership experiences; Has the ability to communicate and interact effectively with all constituencies; Has demonstrated the quality to work well with others and promote and maintain a collaborative professional and positive departmental culture, and; An established record of grant activities.
